My interest in Soap Making began when I went the Summer Faire & Country Market one glorious, late summer weekend at the Historic Ramsey House in Knoxville, Tennessee.
A lady was there making and selling soap. I bought several bars and fell in love with the way it made my skin feel.
I kept thinking to myself. " I can do that!", So I went home and did some research and got to work making my own soap.
After I made my first batch, I was hooked! It is wonderful to see something that you make with your own hands turn out to be such a useful and luxurious product. It is also nice to know exactly what goes into each and every bar. No funny chemicals, just nourishing oils, water, sodium hydroxide, essential oils or fragrance oils.
We have not bought a bar of soap from the store in years!
I am so Grateful for the Reviews and Praise!-
My husband and I have been using soap from Sweet Harvest Homestead for several months now. We couldn’t be more pleased with the improvement to our skin. My husband suffers from very dry winter skin. We had tried many different soaps and lotions with no success. The only thing that has brought him relief from his itchy skin is the Sweet Harvest Homestead soap. We are so thankful for this soap and will continue to use it in the future.

I wash my hands ALOT throughout the day, and you're soaps aren't drying me out like the other soaps I was using. When my boys take baths in the master bath - my whole bedroom smells wonderful! Thank you, we're still enjoying your soaps on a whole new level!
