I have been just overwhelmed at the Love that has been shown during my birthday week. This was a landmark birthday......
My Sweet Family wisked me away to Asheville on Tuesday for a big surprise!
My best girlfriend, Lorie from Tennessee ( her girls are the ones that I made the English Country Dresses for) and all of her children drove over the mountain and had lunch with us.
That meant the world to me!
Then, when we went to check in to our room, who poped his head out of the door? My dear Daddy!
My brother Cameron also came. We had supper together and laughed all evening long!
My Grandmother and Aunts in East Tennessee sent gifts along with my Father and my Aunt Deena in Nashville sent these beautiful flowers.
I came home to Chocolates and a Balloon at my door from my friend, Tracy.
My eldest son, Nate put a hilarious picture of me in the newspaper with the tag line...
Got a call from my Uncle Dewey in Colorado who shares the same birthday
Lots of cards and texts of well wishes!
And...... on Friday, I got another surprise as I walked into my friend Neecie's house.
Singing, Over the Hill Gifts, a Cake and a Garlic Press ( we eat a lot of Garlic, keeps the Vampires at bay ) from our beloved Adventure Group Friends.
I feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful family and friends!
Girl, I want to see this newspaper pic. So great to see you so happy!! Happy Belated Birthday Old (as in I've known you a long time) Friend.
